Hi! I am Jui Bhagwatkar, from Grade 9, and I work in the Research Department of the Awareify Project. I believe that we, as young curious students, can change the world with our unique ideas and perspectives. To solve some of the most pressing issues today, I feel that the younger generations first need to understand global issues to the fullest extent. Every day, I am inspired by accounts of people, incidents, and issues, around the world, and I hope to spread awareness to the younger generations as well.
My favorite quote is one by Jadah Sellner, “It’s okay to be a glowstick: Sometimes we have to break before we shine”.

I started this entire project because I saw many videos on how news impacts your emotional health. Along with knowing how much bad is going on in today’s world. I didn’t know how to make everyone understand what the truth is and how to express their feelings. So, I created this club! It was a bit difficult at first, but then after seeing everyone’s dedication and hardwork, I was amazed.

I am Kashish Bhanushali and I am in the 9th grade. I am in the research department, the creative department, and the logistics team. I am the official website creator as well. I am the website editor and and head 2. Zeal Mapuskar, the founder of this website decided to make a group be able to spread awareness of the issues going on in the world with some creative representation. When I heard about this I realized that I would love to do this because there are multiple issues going on globally and it would be educational and nice to let people who are unaware of everything going on globally and to let them know, as well as give statistics, facts, perspectives, and updates on what’s happening. I realized that it would be very encouraging to work as a whole team and spread awareness to the unaware. To conclude, the reason I joined is that it was encouraging and educational as well as of course fun to do this and work together as a team.

Hi, I’m Suhana Mittal and I am in the 9th grade. I have joined this project as I believe in spreading awareness and making the world a better place, after all, we are the future. When Zeal gave this idea, I immediately joined as though it is a small step, I know it will make a difference.

My name is Shweta Joshi and I’m in 9th grade. I joined this project because, to be blunt, I believe that our world is deeply flawed. Racism, sexism, colorism, homophobia, animal cruelty, police brutality, and the persecution of marginalized communities; these are all things I’ve grown up seeing on the news. I grew up thinking these things are normal. But, over time, I became more aware of the constant injustice that people and animals face every day, and I decided that I wanted to make a difference through art. I believe that art truly has the power to change people’s perspective and spread awareness, so when this project was created by Zeal Mapuskar, I didn’t hesitate to sign up and be a part of the Creative department.

I am from grade 6, and I am the the creative department. I joined this group to spread information in a more, well, creative way. Not only posters and essays, but with songs and pieces of art. As for my favorite quote, I have many, but two of my favorites would be, “Let’s be reasonable and add an eighth day to the week, one dedicated to reading and reading only,” or “You should flaunt the weird my friends.” I enjoy reading and drawing, and that’s it about me.
